The programme conducted by the Department of Fashion & Textiles focuses on surface embellishments, and basic weaving and knitting techniques used in the Fashion & Textile industry.

The areas of study include embroidery, resist dyeing techniques (batik & tie-dye), appliqué & patchwork, basic weaving techniques and basic knitting techniques

The programme targets at upgrading the skills of the people working at supervisor levels as well as to the aspiring candidates to join the Fashion and Textile industry.
